Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, store and protect your personal and health information.

Template notice for the site owner. This page is a working draft written to reflect how MediGlow operates. Because it deals with health data across Singapore's PDPA, Australia's Privacy Act, US state privacy laws and GDPR-equivalent regimes in the Gulf, it must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer in each market before launch. Delete this box once reviewed.

1. Who we are

MediGlow ("we", "us") is a cosmetic surgery concierge and coordination service. We are not a medical practice. This policy explains how we handle information you share with us. For questions, contact privacy@mediglow.me.

2. Information we collect

  • Contact details — name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, and country of residence.
  • Enquiry details — the procedure you are considering, your preferred timeframe, package interest and any specific requirements.
  • Health information — medical history, current medication, allergies, previous surgery, measurements and clinical photographs, collected through a secure link and only where you choose to proceed.
  • Travel and logistics details — passport details, flight information and accommodation preferences, where needed to make arrangements on your behalf.
  • Website usage data — basic analytics such as pages viewed and referring source, where analytics are enabled.

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your enquiry and prepare an indicative cost range.
  • To submit your case to a surgeon for clinical review, with your consent.
  • To arrange consultations, surgery dates, accommodation, transfers and aftercare.
  • To provide support and welfare checks while you are in our care.
  • To meet our legal, insurance and record-keeping obligations.
  • To send you updates, only where you have opted in.

4. Health information

Health information is treated as sensitive personal data and handled with additional care. We collect it only with your explicit consent, share it only with the medical partners directly involved in assessing or treating you, and never use it for marketing. Clinical photographs are stored securely, are not used in any promotional material, and are never published without your separate, documented written consent — which you may withdraw at any time.

5. Who we share information with

  • Your surgeon and hospital, so they can assess and treat you.
  • Accommodation, transport and nursing partners, limited to what they need to provide their service.
  • Service providers such as secure hosting, email and form-handling platforms, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
  • Regulators, insurers or legal advisers, where we are required or permitted to do so by law.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. International transfer

Because our service spans your home country and Vietnam, your information will be transferred internationally — including to medical partners in Vietnam. We take reasonable steps to ensure recipients protect your information to a comparable standard, including through contractual confidentiality terms.

7. How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for the period necessary to respond and to meet our legal and insurance obligations, after which they are securely deleted. Note that your medical records are created and held by the treating hospital under its own retention obligations, not by us; requests for those records should be directed to the hospital, and we will assist you in making them.

8. Security

We use secure transmission, access controls and confidentiality obligations for anyone handling client information. No system is completely secure, so please do not send clinical photographs or medical details by ordinary email — we will always provide a secure upload link instead.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information we hold about you, correct it, request deletion, withdraw consent, object to certain processing, or lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise any of these, contact privacy@mediglow.me. We will respond within the period required by the applicable law.

10. Cookies

This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function, plus any analytics cookies described in a cookie banner if one is displayed. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date.
